Microsoft rolls out Maia 200 AI chips; launch note has 'message' for Google, Amazon

Microsoft has launched its Maia 200 AI chip, aiming to rival Nvidia, Amazon, and Google. This new chip, built on TSMC's advanced 3nm process, promises significant performance and cost efficiencies for AI workloads. Microsoft's own superintelligence team will be among the first to utilize the Maia 200, powering services like Copilot and OpenAI models on Azure.
